The Manager of Accounting is responsible for managing the general accounting for the Frederick Health Services and Frederick Health Medical Group entities and the payroll function for all of Frederick Health employees.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration with CPA certification preferred. Three to five years experience in a similar finance management role. Healthcare facility and Maryland HSCRC background is preferred. Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with all finance team members, directors and senior leadership. Extensive experience with pc-based Microsoft Office applications and interfacing with large enterprise-wide computer systems. Meditech software experience preferred. Ability to develop complex spreadsheets and manipulate large amounts of data into usable information. Experience with the management of payroll function (Ultimate software).
